The student learning experience at La Luz is organized by:
Studios: 3-6 week deep immersion experiences in projects and community field work.
Intensives: 1 week deep immersion experiences into fields of study students are passionate about, such as cooking, animal rights, or mural art.

Students hiked over 100 miles and participated in an overnight hut trip. They built community and perseverance!
Conservation and Ecology
Students spent 6 weeks learning from experts at the Denver Zoo about human impact on endangered species.
Students engaged with a variety of people from marginalized communities to learn what it means to be an ally.
Students engaged in a variety of arts experiences with Museo de Las Americas. Su Teatro DCPA, and Redline Arts.
Engage as a Citizen
Students learned from experts at History Colorado. government officials and participated in a mock city council meeting.
Students explored all areas of health and wellbeing including nutrition, exercise, mental health and sex education.
Students participated in a variety of service learning experiences at parks, rivers and animal shelters.
